Unfortunately, the batteries are not replaceable . On the plus side, it lasts for a LONG time and it’s amazing. It’s great to get families/kids in a big circle. We also extended the lesson by holding on the other hand plastic wires, metal wires, stripping down a telephone cable’s ends, water in a bowl, etc. for kids to guess whether or not the stick would still work.
