Our little 6 year old loves science and we decided to get this set. We had already tried some of Steve Spangler experiments before and we loved them already and kind of knew what to expect. The party was simply amazing and all the kids loved it. The only thing I would really recommend to whoever wants to do it is to reduce the amount of cross linking solution on the slime as it is too much and the slime gets too hard. Besides that, the kids, Moms and Dads had all the fun in the world with this kit. We were not able to do the Mentos but we just stuck them in the favor bags. We spent over an hour and their teacher tells me they are still talking about it at school.

Thank you so much for putting this party kit together, I just had a Mad science party for my 8 year old son and it was amazing. This kit was perfect and the experiments worked perfectly! I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful it was to see so many smiling faces when each experiment worked exactly as described. The instructions that accompanied this kit were well written and easy to follow. The kids could not stop smiling and all I kept hearing was can we do that again? even the parents wanted to participate! Thank you again and I will be recommending your website to anyone looking to have this type of party!

The kids has great fun with most of the expirements. The snow was a big hit as well as the worms. The slime did not work as well as it should have and the shaker cups leaked pretty badly. The diet cola and mentos was certianly the hit of the party.
It would be helpful if the online information had discussed more clearly what was in the kit and the directions were stated. I would probably have elected to purchase items seperately rather than in the kit.
All in all it was a great party and the kids had lots of fun.

We had 18 kids ranging in age from K to 3rd mesmerized for over an hour. There were even a few older brothers and sisters who couldn’t resist trying out a few things. ( making slime is impossible to resist at any age). The Water jelly crystals made four gallon sized bags, we used one of them, so we could have used less water or fewer crystals and been good. Since we had a few unexpected guests we gave each family a geyser and snow tube and everyone seemed happy. There was lots of left over snow, and there is plenty of slime even for several accidents. The worms are a great starter, there is more than enough that the kids don’t mind giving up the bottle of worm goo and just reaching in to squeeze other people’s creations. It also warms them up for more mess to come. The initial hesitations- am I really supposed to reach in there-faded quickly. It is good to have a large stack of towels on hand. And everyone was delighted by they geysers, even the most hardened high school student cracked a grin. I saw them!

All involved reported it was the best birthday party ever. Only one disappointment: The slime making. Lots of leaking and splattering from the cups even though I personally checked each one before they shook it. And only a few turned into good slime, in spite of following the instructions — they just didn’t absorb the liquid. ended up with clumps in colored liquid. Don’t know what we did wrong. On the other hand, the snow and worms were amazing. The instructions suggest just having the birthday kid have the snow made in his hands — Ignore that! We did it in each kid’s hands and it was the highlight for many of them. Also, for a random super-cheap bonus activity: google gumdrop molecules and have the kids build away… it was a great way introduce the science before the practical experiments began.
