Even Science People Practice for the Big Game – Colorado Rockies Science Day
Professional athletes practice before the big game day… and so should the visiting science team. We’re honored to be invited by the Colorado Rockies baseball organization and NBC affiliate 9News to kick-off their first annual Science Day at Coors Field on May 7, 2009. If you’re in the Colorado area, there’s still time to sign-up. Yes, even Dinger liked the kaboom.
This sounds absolutely fantastic! They definitely picked the right group of people to spark the science enthusiasm on such a large scale. I am looking forward to witnessing a world record 🙂
Hey Steve… now I have some new ideas for Springfield (MO) Cardinals weather school next year. We had a great showing today for our 2nd of the year… 3-7,000 kids! Wow!
Thanks for all you do.

I like what you did on the Colorado Science Day, the way you present it on this blog – I find it entertaining and really educational. Your approach might inspire more kids to love science. Thanks for the Vid.
Hi Steve,
I was wondering if you would be doing the Science day at Coors field again this year along with the baseball game! Our MESA group would really like to attend and as most schools operate, we would need to have plans made months in advance in order for this to happen. If you could send me information in regards to this I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks so much
