I’m at Anchorage International Airport and I’m Staying at the Millennium…Now What?
When you arrive at the Anchorage International Airport:
- Claim your luggage first
- Call the Millennium using the courtesy phones located in the airport (or save this number to your cell phone: 907-243-2300), or you can push the Millennium button on the kiosk located in the baggage claim area
- The Millennium hotel operator will give instructions on where to stand to be picked up
- The Millennium shuttle takes about 15 minutes to arrive
The Millennium is a beautiful lakeside hotel with a 24-hour courtesy shuttle service from the airport, as well as a free, scheduled shuttle to and from the downtown Anchorage area. You can also board a flight-seeing excursion from the Millennium’s own float plane dock…and get your sight-seeing off to an early start…by taking a trip to Mt. McKinley or the Chugach Mountains.
The Millennium also offers a 24-hour health club, whirlpool/steam room/sauna, a lakefront patio, a photo gallery and an Espresso bar. All rooms have refrigerators, hair dryers, coffee makers, irons/ironing boards, in-room movies and Nintendo, concierge services, 24-hour room service, etc. The hotel is near many attractions… Lake Spenard/Lake Hood float plane base, Portage Glacier, Alaska Zoo and Aviation Heritage Museum, Museum of History and Art, the Knowles Coastal Trail, Earthquake Park and Anchorage’s Coastal Wildlife Refuge. The hotel has a full-service restaurant and a lounge offering casual dining and drinks. The Millennium also has a lounge in the lobby and a small bellman’s closet that may offer some luggage storage. The lobby and the front covered patio are spacious! These areas will be perfect for loading Science at Sea guests and your luggage onto the busses the morning of your cruise!
