Contributor Guidelines

Thank you so much for your interest in contributing to www.SteveSpanglerScience.com/blog. Our blog features a range of educational, science news, fun science stories, parent resources, teacher resources and of course science experiments and activities. We also have a series called “The Science Behind…” As a contributor you are welcome to write a post that fits into any of the categories.

We will not accept any politically motivated or propaganda-oriented posts.

Steve Spangler Science may copy edit the post for grammar and spelling and reserves the right to reject any posts that do not fit with our brand and overall message.

Contributor posts will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays and are due by 9 a.m. MST the Monday before in a Word or Pages document.

• Images must be sized to 400×400 pixels in .jpg or .gif format.
• Maximum 5 images per post.
• All links must also be included in parenthesis next to the text to be linked.

Contributors must also submit a short bio. Headshots or images are optional but must be 150×150 pixels in .jpg or .gif format.

If you have a specific post idea, please email us  webteam at https://www.stevespanglerscience.com  with your idea and a suggested run date. We will contact you for approval with a due and publish date.
