Pick Steve's Bee… Win a Prize!
You might think that we’re just physical science people, but we do have a soft spot in our hearts for living things… especially honeybees. There’s a huge honeybee problem and Haagen-Dazs has done a great job with their HelptheHoneyBees.com website to help raise awareness around this issue. Some of the fine people who find employment at SteveSpanglerScience.com have gotten hooked on making their own honeybee using the Haagen-Dazs site.
So, we’ve created a little contest for our blog readers. Below you’ll find 16 people who work on the web team at SteveSpanglerScience.com… and I’m included in the mix. If you can correctly identify my number, you’ll win a $10 gift certificate from SteveSpanglerScience.com. Just post your comment below with your first name and real e-mail address (your e-mail will not be visible on the comment) and we’ll post the winning number on Friday morning (May 2, 2008). Hey, no cheating allowed – it’s for the honeybees. Oh, one more thing… since this is my contest, I’m allowed to be in disguise (very sneaky)! Go ahead… place your guess.
How funny! I see the obvious choice but I’m going with #2.
I pick number 15 – kind of a jazz look.
I love to watch Steve on Ellen, and I think Bee #3 is his bee!
Number 11 for no other reason than I know he’s tricky and is being different.
#14 is Steve’s bee! I just know it!

I think number 5 looks like Steve, but if he’s in disguise he might be wearing sunglasses and looking tough like number 10. I guess I’ll go with number 10.
You have to be number 14. The smile and fun mohawk give you away!!!
It’s definitely number 10. The antennae give him away.
I’m going with number 10, just have a feeling thats all.
It has to be #5: Just look at that smile!
I think it’s #16 for some reason.I’m just doing this because I was doing my science project and I was zoning out. Uh-Oh! My mom’s coming. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#10 popped out at me – it’s got to bee him.
I’m just going to go with number 10. I can just feel it.

I say #3. The hairdo!!!
I picture number 16 as Steve.

# 16 looks like Steve!
I think #14. You strike me as the mowhawk type. Scientists have a wild side too.
Number 14 must be Steve. It looks like something is shooting out of his head! It must be his new experiment….
# 5 for sure!
I met with Steve yesterday at his office and I can assure you he looks like none of them His wings are a little larger and his yellow and black stripes are nothing like the ones here. I, however, look just like Bee 3, short and fat.
hmmmm . . . you can be tricky, I’d say #5, i don’t know why.
i would say #16 looks kinda in disquise!!
