BEST SLIME ON THE MARKET! Go beyond “Glue Slime” and make the world’s best slime using Steve Spangler’s CLEAR SLIME PVA. This kit comes with 32 ounces of high quality PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) solution without any coloring. What makes our slime formulation unlike anything else on the market is the addition of stabilizing agents that help to reduce the growth of bacteria while preserving the stretchy, stringy, gooey properties of slime that everyone loves. Steve Spangler formulated these slime components originally for Hollywood special effects artists who demanded the best slime under any condition.

Just add a few drops of food coloring to turn Clear Slime into any color you want. Add glitter, foam beads or plastic bugs to be the hit of your next Halloween party.

Recommended for children ages 6 and up with adult supervision.

Now you can make our best selling slime in any color of the rainbow. We still supply the PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) and sodium tetraborate (Borax) solutions, but now the PVA is clear. Use your favorite food coloring to make a personalized bottle of slime. Our popular PVA solution contains specially formulated stabilizers to increase the shelf life and keep the slime free of unwanted growing things. This kit makes 15 batches of slime (approximately 60 mL (2 oz) portions).

This is still the BEST SLIME ON THE MARKET! There's just something magical about mixing two liquids together and getting a material that is ooey, gooey, stringy... in a word it's SLIME! This crazy activity has become a staple at teacher conventions, a must for before and after school programs, and the hands-down favorite at Halloween. Recommended for children ages 4 and up with adult supervision.

You get enough materials to make 15, 2 ounce portions or 30, 1 ounce portions of Slime... with a little bit left over!

What's Included?

Clear Slime Kit includes:

  • 32 ounces (1-liter) of PVA with enhanced stabilizers to increase shelf life and reduce bacteria
  • 16 ounces (500 mL) of cross-linker solution (sodium tetraborate)
  • Slime instruction guide guaranteed to help you mix up a perfect batch of slime every time!
  • Makes 16 batches of slime (2 oz each) or one giant batch of amazing slime.

How Does It Work?

Spangler Slime is simple to make... Just mix 2 ounces (60 mL) of slime solution with one ounce (30 mL) of cross-linker solution. Mix for 30 seconds to make a perfect batch of gooey slime.

Our slime recipe is based on the classic polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) formula with sodium tetraborate as the cross-linking agent. Turn this ever popular science activity into a real learning experience that is filled with real fun.

Keep your slime in a zipper-lock bag for safe storage. Keep off of carpet, wood surfaces or any place you think slime will cause damage.

What Does It Teach?

Making slime is a great way to introduce the concepts of changes in states of matter (from a liquid to a solid), demonstrate the process of cross-linking long chains of molecules, and to explore the science of polymers.

Anytime is Slime Time! Who can resist playing mad scientist and making their own batch of ooey, gooey slime? Making slime is a perfect Halloween activity. Use slime to teach students about states of matter as two liquid mix to become a solid. Connect popular pieces of children's literature to this activity to make story time slime a favorite classroom experience.

  1. Don't wait too long to use it. review by Mom on 4/22/2013

We didn't mix these for months, and they just mixed together to make a mess. Don't wait too long to use them. I'm sure this is a great kit, but it doesn't keep too long.

You're right! A lot of chemicals have a finite shelf life. Try this, though. Give the Worm Goo a decent shaking and try it again. And remember, liquid chemicals are best to be kept in a mild, dry place. Thanks for the feedback and keep experimenting!

  2. Fun and sticky! review by Astrid on 3/10/2013

The kids at the party loved it! They were amazed on how when adding the second solution, the "liquid" as they kept stiring began to get thicker. It was a real fun to play with it.

  3. perfect review by Jason Melvin on 2/11/2013

The kids (3 and 5) loved it. The elder got the idea of crosslinking and both thoroughly enjoyed playing with slime. My sister already ordered a kit for her son.

  5. Awsome slime! review by Gabby Lantz on 12/14/2012

I bought this slime b/c i realized its cheaper to buy this and some atomic glow than atomic slime. also you can make other colors by adding food coloring. i made a batch with just atomic glow and another with atomic glow and glow powder. overall, great product i will be buying again soon.
