Need a helping hand? We’ve got just the thing… the Robotic Arm is a great way to introduce children to the world of robotics. This amazing kit allows children to put together their own robot and then operate it. The arm lets you control the gripper to open and close and has a lifting capacity of 100 grams. The amazing technology on the arm includes a searchlight on the gripper and a safety gear audible indicator to prevent any potential injury or damage to the gears. The total command functionality makes it possible for you to predict the robot’s behavior, and the extended life of the gearbox means prolonged control of the robot. Recommended for children ages 10 and up.

The Robotic Arm includes the following ranges of motion:

  • Wrist Motion: 120 degrees
  • Elbow Motion: 300 degrees
  • Base Rotation: 270 degrees

  • Vertical Reach: 15 inches
  • Horizontal Reach: 12.6 inches

What does it teach?

The Robotic Arm is a great introduction to the science behind robots and engineering. Children will learn build strong motor skills by following the diagram to build the arm and will continue to hone these skills as they operate the robot.

Nice toy man. this is looking like an arm of an extraterrestrial robot . nice to play,good for children,lots to learn with etc.

i think the robotic arm is a great toy for children to build and to have fun with. i have been exploring the steve spangler website for almost 1 month and have tried many of the expirements. when i saw the robot, i imidiately bought it and tried it out...... shawn -age 10
