This light is a fantastic way to show effects with a large group (classroom size) instead of trying to purchase a bunch of handheld lights. It's lightweight and I've had no problems with the cord staying in as others have advised. My only suggestion would be to incorporate some sort of cover for the bulb itself.

My only problem with this is that the cord will not stay plugged in to the light itself. It's hard to hold it in and use it.

What a neat contraption to set up a room with! We painted with glow in the dark paint, black light reactive paint, on clothing using gravity, centrepetal force and more. I think our students will recall doing this projects for many years to come. We set the room with 6 of these lights. it was amazing fun and learning about light. The frosting on the science cake for our unit.

The light works great on the UV Reactive beads! I use it when I want to demonstrate the beads when we cannot be outdoors. It would be nice if it had an adjustable hood of some sort to shield the eyes, though.

THis worked very well in class. My only complaint is that the power cord does not seem to fit in firmly and can get knocked out easily.

There is a piece of the light broken, I hear it moving back and forth. The light still works, but not sure if it is supposed to be this way> Son loves the light thoe!

I had a glow in the dark birthday party for my little brother. I'm glad I bought this black light and didn't rely on the miniature ones because this black light is great! Everything just wouldn't of been the same without it.

I am having a glow-n-the-dark slumber party for my son's 9th B-day. We are making glow slime and a few other glow items. I ordered this light and it is very nice. It works well, and makes things glow. It can be mounted or used unmounted. We will use it for Halloween, too. It arrived in a separate box. This is a nice product for a good price.

Bought in conjunction with the atomic worm classroom kit - I would strongly suggest teachers add this to any order requiring the use of black light!!!! Great value for a quality product!!!!
