Insta-Worms
Just mix two liquids together and you've got feet of Instant Worms!
Usually ships out the next day.
Recommend for 6 years & up with adult supervision.
Squeeze a long stream of Worm Goo into the Activator Solution and you'll get Instant Worms! You won't believe your eyes as the honey-like "Worm Goo" changes into a rubbery solid the second the two solutions mix. This unique polymer formulation (no Borax or PVA used here) is safe to touch and weave between your fingers. The "hands-on science" factor is great for younger students while the strong content makes the activity perfect for upper-level students and teachers. If you love the classic "slime" activity, Insta-Worms™ is guaranteed to knock your socks off! Ages 6 and up.
You get enough materials to make about 12 meters (40 ft) of Worms!
What's included?
- 240 mL of blue Worm Goo
- 12 g of calcium chloride
- In-depth activity guide
What does it teach?
Explore the science of building polymers by cross-linking long chains of molecules. The process of making Instant Worms is faster and easier than the classic Slime recipe and it happens the very second the two liquids mix. Truly amazing!Product FAQ
- What age is this activity best suited?

ewwww!!!!
Connie - October 9, 2012
Insta worms really got the children's attention. It is very simple to perform and the experiment happens quickly so kids can play with the worms. I had boys grasping for a chance to play with the worms. I highly recommend getting this product to experiment with. Thank you Steve for such awesome experiments and for making my 10 year old's birthday a huge success. |

Insta Worm Kit
Chris White - March 19, 2012
My preschool class loves making insta worms. They love showing their parents their gooey worms. They love to drop just drops of the worm solution to make worm eggs. Lot's of fun to tie into some of our lessons. Also fun just to play with. |

slimy worms
Melissa Harry - November 21, 2011
We purchased insta-worms for our son's 5th birthday party. The kids loved them! It was so simple. I had the water mixture ready to go so all they had to do was squeeze the worm liquid into the cup and they had squishy worms. A big hit! |

This was fun!
SaacNMama - October 9, 2011
This worm goo is a very good idea. It got my son wondering where you came up with it. I liked that it is all self-contained and not messy--measure the water into a bowl, stir the powder, and you're ready to squirt in the goo. Worms were fun and not messy. Great for birthday parties or inside on a rainy day! |

Excellent in 4th Grade Science
Nacole Roney - September 30, 2011
My lab partner and I saw my teacher in college use this kit with the Diary About a Worm book. I immediately came home and orded it because we had a lesson on millipedes coming up in our 4th grade class we do our labs in. The children loved the idea. I hope I have enough of the worm activator powder left over to do it again in another lesson. The children were entranced. |

Instant Worms
Elizabeth Beckwith - April 19, 2010
Great experiment for children. Although, they only seem to be interested in it for a short amount of time....they wow factor doesnt last long...but they LOVE popping the worms then putting it back into the activator to reconnect it. They enjoyed dropping the goo in large clumps to see who could make the biggest bubble. |

Saving Worms Lives!
Lisa Littleton - August 19, 2009
My son and I used this kit the other day after playing in the garden. He loved finding worms in the dirt. Problem was he'd "love" on the worms a little too much - if you know what I mean. That's when I remembered that I bought this kit. We ran inside, put on our special science clothes and had fun making worms for the rest of the day. I wish I had had the video camera close by so you could hear his excitement pulling the worms out of the special solution. What a fun & unique kit! |
