This all-inclusive kit is a great introduction to the power of air. Head off on an exploration into Bernoulli, Pascal and more! Your friends will watch in wonder as you float on a cushion of air, lift an entire table with two Windbags and send a Solar Bag soaring into the atmosphere. This kit is sure to blow you away. Recommended for children ages 6 and up.
- 12 Rubber bands, size #33
- 12 Windbags
- 1 roll of Solar Bag String
- 1 Solar Bag
- 1 Activity Guide
What does it teach?
Air-Mazing Mysteries delves deeply into the world of Bernoulli’s Principal, which explains all about air pressure and the way air moves and acts. You will also learn about Pascal’s Principal in an amazing display of the power of air. The Solar Bag in your kit provides a terrific explanation of how air molecules react to air. The best part is, we’ll give you the tools to make the scientific principles relevant and fun for even the youngest scientists!

The windbags are great and the kids are amazed that you can actually blow them up easily. The windbags are very sturdy and will last a while. The solar bag was so much fun. We inflated it in a big field (takes some effort to get it completely filled - we gave up and tied it off with some left on the end). It still floated way up in the air and the kids flew it like a kite. Make sure you tie the string before you blow it up or it will be hard to tie it. Better for a day without much wind to help control it. Solar bag was sturdy but is definitely a one-time use product.

The windbags were a hit for my group of kids aged 5-11. The solar bag got a hole in it when trying to unroll it. After we patched the hole, it worked but the kids got so excited that their instincts told them to run and jump and hit the giant "balloon". Before we knew it, the bag got a bunch of holes and it was useless after about 5 minutes. Lesson: warn your children to watch and not touch. The bag is too delicate!

This is an awesome experiment that I have done in the past with great results; however, this time the giant bag punctured right away and there were some disappointed kids and teacher!
