We've all heard that great things come in small packages. Well, the Mini 6-in-1 Solar Kit is no exception. In this kit, one solar panel is enough to power a solar puppy, windmill, car, boat, and 2 types of planes – 6 kits for the price of one! The amount of renewable fun is almost as amazing as the renewable energy. Constructing around a gear box that is capable of 12000 rpm, you will assemble the different models from the ground up. This do-it-yourself kit will have scientists, young and old, entertained for hours!

Aside from entertainment value, the 6 in 1 Solar Kit has tremendous educational value, as well. Use these robots to drive home important concepts about renewable energy sources and their necessity in the world or even add information regarding air displacement from the boat and plane propellors or potential and kinetic energy with the car!

What's included?

  • 1 solar panel
  • 1 gear box
  • Propellors
  • Car chassis
  • Boat, plane, and windmill base
and everything else you need for 6* different models!

*Kits cannot be built simultaneously.

How does it work?

The Mini 6-in-1 Solar Kit uses a single solar cell to power a small motor at up to 12000 rpm. The different kits then use different propellers to move.

What does it teach?

This kit teaches about renewable solar energy and basic mechanical assembly. You can even apply principles of air displacement and motion.

The kit is a fun was to teach about solar energy. The parts are fairly small, the boat for instance is about 5 inches long.

My sons really enjoyed these. The kit was challenging, fun and very cool! :) The pieces didn't just snap together in three minutes, but were something they could carefully figure out and build. It was fun to see the toys work when finished, too! I wasn't sure if they would be worth the money, but in our opinion, they definitely were!

Objects in photos are smaller than they appear

Pros: These really do work! Lots of fun, and directions are easy to follow.

Cons: The vehicles are smaller than you'd think from the picture. And some of the parts are not that strong so if they're forced just a bit too hard at the wrong angle, they could break.
