Developing images on photographic paper has always been a favorite with kids… but times have changed. Now you can develop the image directly on a piece of fabric.  Just lay the design objects (leaves, coins, transparencies, etc.) on the pre-treated fabric and expose the fabric to the sun. After ten minutes, simply rinse the fabric with plain water and watch as a beautiful blue and white photograph develops.

Now Available in a Multi-Color Pack!!!
Use this new pack containing multiple colors just like you would the original blue fabric.  But now, there are fabric squares in red, yellow, green, and more.

What's included?

  • 20 pieces of specially-treated fabric in 22 cm (8.5") squares.
    • 20 pieces of blue fabric
      or
    • 20 pieces of fabric in multiple colors

How does it work?

What’s the secret? The fabric square is hand treated with a light sensitive solution, dried and sealed in a light-proof bag – ready to print. This process is certified non-hazardous and is perfect as a class demonstration or a small group activity.

Fabulous

I have been using sun sensitive paper with my preschoolers for years. I bought the sun sensitive fabric to take with me this summer on a family reunion at the beach. I decided to try it out yesterday - could not be more pleased and excited!

Fun in the sun!

I love this product! We took a class of kids to the beach and made the most beautiful prints from seagrass, beach glass and sand - we rinsed them in the ocean - how fun - now our classroom is decorated with memories from our field trip. We are going to sew these into a quilt for the teacher.
