Around the Spangler Science offices, every day is a science day! So, why should Easter be any different? If you are looking for something to do with your class or your kids other than the standard egg hunt and Easter basket... we've got you covered. You'll have the kids begging for more and all in the name of science!
Growing Peeps - This year before you feast on the sugary goodness of these brightly colored marshmallows, try making them grow to an enormous size first. You won't believe what you can do to a Peep marshmallow with a simple kitchen vacuum packer. Trust us, no Peeps were harmed in the filming of this video.

Marshmallow Masher - If the colorful Peeps variety of marshmallow is just more than you can stomach on Easter, try this alternative using plain white marshmallows. This time, instead of expanding those fluffy marshmallows you get to shrink them to the size of peas... oh the fun that can be had at the dinner table!

Amazing Eggs - What would Easter be without eggs? We would certainly hate to find out. That's why we've come up with an entire arsenal of egg-citing egg eggs-periments... sorry, we just couldn't help ourselves. From making naked eggs, to folding eggs, to the classic egg in a bottle trick, these aren't your average egg-dying experiments.
Color Symphony - Before you are done with the last bit of Easter dinner, try this colorful experiment, using milk and dish soap. It's a color explosion that is sure to amaze and entertain everyone at your dinner table.
