“Hi Carly, I am so excited! This year I won our counties
"Golden Apple" teachiing award, and Steve Spangler had a
huge part! I constantly use his ideas and am so
exxxxxxxxxxxxxxxcited when new ideas are put onthe web site. I am a
poster child for Steve!!! Looking forward to the whole
experience!"
- Andrea
Golden Apple Teacher 2008! (Thanks Steve!)

“I just wanted to say thanks again for another memorable
conference! I had 2 ASL interpreters provided for me (thank you
again!!) so I could follow the conference. Little did I know that
both of them would get so wrapped up in what was going on that they
would forget to translate for me!! I did warn them beforehand that
it’s an amazing experience and I think they left fully satisfied
that I was right along with 2 bags of goodies that they bought! :o)
So it doesn’t matter what your background is, I think it’s a
wonderful conference that benefits anyone and everyone will be
amazed and not only what you can do but also at how wonderfully
down to earth Steve is and how generous the staff can be. Keep up
the great work guys!!"
- Alyssa

“It was great to meet you on Thursday, I was so happy to do that
excellent last activity. In a few weeks I will be doing this
activity with my student we start our unit on simple machines force
and motion."
- Andrea Oliver

“Hands on is great! Loved the kit. Liked the little baby soda
bottles”
- Amelia from Greenville, MO

"Thanks for a fantastic workshop. There is not one thing I
will not try with my fourth graders."
- Michele from Ironton, MO

"I would love to help focus some of these ideas into 5 E
(Inquiry) lesson for middle school teachers. Create a book using
your inquiry activities designed in 5 E. I have done a few of these
lessons before. But, it is great to see a new way to excite
students and make them think!"
- Janice from Maryville, MO

"I love the actual science background included in the
handout. Most science experiment books I have don’t include the
“history” with the explanation of why! I will use many of these
activities with my gifted classes! They will love these activities!
Thanks so much!"
- Karen from Broseley, MO

"I will use instant snow in a sensory table. The bubbles
would be great as a group activity. I really like the growing
alligator with the book."
- Debbie from Woodland, WA

"I have been to a conference of yours before. I loved the
water gel. How fun this will be when I put this to use at our next
faculty meeting! Had a great time today."
- Tammy from Dexter, MO

"ENGAGING! PRACTICAL! INSPIRING! Thank you so much."
- Pam from Siloam Springs, AR

"This was really cool. All the ideas were really good. I
plan on using the water crystals, the snow and the diaper stuff. It
was all terrific!"
- Jennifer from Corning, AR

"Thanks for an incredible day. It’s been quite a challenge
so far this year in class. I appreciate so much your enthusiasm,
passion, and knowledge to re-ignite our teaching flame!"
- Jeanne from Orlando, FL

"What a great day! The projects are fabulous, but your
message is even better. Thanks for a wonderful day of
learning!"
- Cathy from Shoreline, WA

"I am so stoked!!! This is the best seminar I have ever
attended. It was insightful, fun, exciting, fun, educational, fun,
inspired, fun and did I say fun??? I will take the “science torch”
and show other teachers how much “fun” science is and can be. It’s
a new way to discover the understanding and exploration of science
hat you can take to any grade level. Thank you!"
- Janet from Portland, OR
