Steve's eye-catching science experiments are featured
weekly on the 4 O'Clock Show and the Morning Show.
Steve Spangler joined 9NEWS in 2001 to teach viewers creative ways
to make learning fun. His weekly experiments never fail to surprise
his co-hosts as he launches potatoes, uses a fire extinguisher to
remove ink stains or turns 2-liter bottles of soda into an erupting
fountain of fun. His now famous Mentos Geyser Experiment became an
internet
sensation in September of 2005 and spawned more than
a thousand related Mentos experiments
on videos sites
like YouTube.com
