I have had several years of fun using Steve Spangler products and the Test Tube Adventures lived up to the standard! I passed these out as a semester gift gift to my elementary and middle school science classes(used treat bags to contain those with 'spare parts')and the kids had a blast! Even the high school kids that I gave them too thought they were great! You can stack the bubbles into a tower! The super balls are just like the ones you get in a vending machine - except the kids make them! Of course the polymers are always a hit! Thanks again Steve!

All in the bag--but nit in the tubes

We got these to use as invites to a Mad Scientist party. We printed off the party info on small pieces if paper and inserted it into the tubes to distribute. Only problem was, most of the kits are nit self-contained in the test tubes. The bouncy ball, ink & worms all have extra things that had to be sent along with the test tube for the experiment to work. So if you are looking fir something to hand out as prizes or favors, this is not your kit.

The experiments looked fun; my son couldn't resist growing one chrystal and writing a little bit. I had the feeling that if you did all the experiments, they'd all be cool, but the explanations would get repetitive--polymers every time. But I think that's the central focus of this customer.

I have to comment in the customer service--I made a comment in the order form about the ordering process. They responded to it very helpfully and tucked a little something extra into our box to make up for it (an ear that expands in water. We'll display it as part of the cake table centerpiece at the party)

Loved it.

My 8 year-old son is fascinated by this right now. He's telling everyone about the touchable bubbles, but no one gets it. They're actually bubbles that set up/semi-harden. Thanks!

Great for 4-5 year old children

The tubes are super durable. Each experiment includes instructions and explanation of the chemistry behind it.
We have done "bubble" experiment and crystals that change colors. Both experiments were wonderful and kids still check their tubes for new colors.

I loved the experiments!! My students (kindergarten) loved the ones we have completed. They are excited to do the instant worms, me too! We have done the magic crystal and the touchable bubbles. Can't wait to order more. Thanks so much for making science fun for young children.

Great assortment, and fun!

We got these for party favors for our sons 13th birthday party at the Discovery Center. The kids LOVED each getting a different one and couldn't wait to use them.
We got extra's for at home and our children have really enjoyed doing the different experiments and seeing the outcome.

Totally Awesome

Gushing point #1. Fun science = kids like science! Gushing point #2. Mom learnd a few (lot) of scientific principals while pouring over the extra information included. Gushing point #3. You get to make a rainbow, play with touchable bubbles, categorize colors, write with disappearing ink, make a bouncing ball, make yards of worms, . . . and believe it or not, lots of other experiments.
