I ordered over 30 of these and every one of them worked great! Because there are very few parts my scientists were able to put them together easily. And yet they could make basic modifications to the solar panel to discover what way the car went best. And best of all they loved them. These cars were a hit!

When we tried to put the gear on the motor the back of the motor came off. When we "fixed it" the the motor was not strong enough to turn the gear. Trying to make it work we ended up breaking top and disconnecting the wire.

Solar car: My almost-three year old was able to help put this together, and then he played with it outside for HOURS!
