How does it work?

Reflector telescopes are the simplest kind of telescopes, and many of the earliest telescopes were based on the reflector model. A reflector uses a large primary mirror and a smaller secondary mirror to bounce the incoming light through to a lens. A reflector will be better at picking out dimmer objects such as distant galaxies or nebulae. This is a great size starter scope. Reflector telescopes also produce some of the best and brightest telescopic images, allowing you to see farther in to space.
