Mini Plasma Electricity Ball
The Mini Plasma globe creates a dramatic display of light.
Usually ships out the next day.
Recommend for 10 years & up with adult supervision.
Years of time in research and development...centuries of fellow scientists telling us it couldn’t be done...but we finally did it. We caught lightning! The Mini Plasma Ball puts the power, beauty, and awe-inspiring nature of electricity at your fingertips. Watch as the lightning jumps from the plasma in the center to reach out and touch your finger as you press it against the glass. You can even feel the electricity as it lightly warms your fingertips. Just try to keep your fingers off of the dancing plasma as the Mini Plasma ball creates a dramatic display of light inside a hand blown glass sphere. Now, for the first time ever, this plasma technology is available in this new compact size that's perfect for your desk or tabletop. Ages 8 and up.

Lower quality than expected.
COinCO - May 28, 2011
My son (10) enjoys using this plasma ball in his room but frequently is frustrated by the battery cover coming loose and the batteries disengaging. We have taped the cover on, but still the weight of the batteries in the underside of the base pull away from the casing and we need to press them into the base to make the batteries connect. |

Just ok

Not very impressed, it was very small and flimsy. Worked ok, but you could barely see it. Not worth the money. |

Great exploration and learning fun!
Sherry Crann - November 16, 2010
This has been a very fun and educational acquisition. My young sons are taking an interest in electrical properties, and are happy to explain how this works to others who visit. Very affordable, and we have not had any problems with it (just be sure to keep the DC "plug" installed when operating on batteries). |
