The best slime on the market just got better! You won’t believe how irresistible our slime is now, with a special florescence ingredient added to create an eerie glow. In normal light, our Atomic Slime seems to glow as it is squished and stretched… put the gooey concoction under a black light and it positively shines! Just mix the cross-linker solution with our specially dyed PVA, turn off the lights and break out the black light. Watch in wonderment as this your students clamor to be the first to touch this eerie, oozing slime. This is the perfect slime for Halloween, but is sure to amaze and excite any time of year. Recommended for children ages 6 and up. You can purchase more Mini Black Lights on our site, or large black light.

You get enough materials to make 15, 2 ounce portions or 30, 1 ounce portions of Slime... with a little bit left over!

What does it teach?

Slime is a great way to introduce your class to the chemistry behind cross-linking solutions. The long-linking chains of molecules in the PVA are called polymers; the cross-linker solution acts as a cross-linking agent for these polymers and helps the chains connect. Slime solution is also a great illustration of what scientists call a “Non-Newtonian Fluid”… when you apply pressure it forms a sort of solid and breaks. When you let it flow like a liquid it easily stretches. All of these science secrets are made even better with the addition of our special coloring agent that fluoresces under black light. When the energy from the black light “excites” the fluorescent dye, you end up with a brightly glowing, very exciting, ooey, gooey experiment! (For the full glowing effect, you will need to purchase a large black light.)

Did this at my son't 9th birthday science bash and the boys loved it. They spent a lot of time playing with it and they wanted to do this one again the next day.

I am event planner and used the atomic gak for a 40th GhostBuster birthday party. Amazing product with very little effort to create with just shaking it. It kept the kids at the party entertained for hours especially with the glow in the dark feature. Based on I had the party lighting as Blacklights. Thank you so much for a great product.

I made Atomic Slime with my daughter's Kindergarten class. The children had a great time playing with the same with the lights on. Then when I told them that this wasn't any ordinary slime but ATOMIC SLIME and we turn off the room lights and turned on the large black light their screams of THIS IS SOOOOO AWESOME made the day an even greater success!

I'm having a glow-in-the-dark slumber party for my 9-year-old. We tested this kit and made one portion of slime last night. It is really cool! My son LOVES it! His friends are going to LOVE it!!!! It is quite simple, too. You simply measure out the correct portion of each liquid and stir. It turns into slime like magic! Kids can touch and play with the slime! With a black light, it glows! The kit comes with a small black light key-chain, but I recommend getting a large black light, or using black light bulbs in you regular light fixtures. I bought the shaker cups from this site, but you could make this in small plastic cups and then transfer it to a zip-lock baggie for storage. We used a plastic spoon for mixing the 2 liquids. I highly recommend this product! What Fun!!!!!

This stuff is great. I have 9 year old twins and was looking for something other than the usual party craft for Halloween. Atomic Slime has the right balance of gross and ooh aah for girls and boys. Love it!
