This kit allows budding animators to build a replica of an animation machine invented 170 years ago. The praxinoscope "plays" animated motion lit by the included LED light. Use the 12 provided animation disks to learn the concepts behind animation. Then, break out on your own to create your own animated images on the provided blank disks. You're sure to feel proud watching your own creation dance across the mirrored screen. The enclosed activity guide includes great tips for drawing your animated images. This is a cool way to learn the science behind animation. Maybe one day you'll be creating cartoons for a much larger screen!
