I purchased these plates as a coloring activity for a 6th birthday science party. Boys AND girls enjoyed using crayons to reveal the bug pictures and interesting textures from the plates beneath their paper. The pictures are intricate and interesting, and I can see these being used for many art projects down the road. |

The bug rubbing plates are a fun and an exciting product for younger kids that are learning about bugs. With this kit kids can color the bugs different colors that can either match the bugs habitat or they can be creative with their coloring. Another thing that I found about this kit is you can color the different plates and then take the picture outside and try and find the environment / habitat that you think best fits that bug. You can also make imprints with the plates and clay. |
