Galileo Thermometer & Barometer
This unique thermometer and barometer combination is amazing.
Usually ships out the next day.
Recommend for 8 years & up with adult supervision.
This unique thermometer and barometer combination is perfect for the weather enthusiast or someone who just loves science. This functional and attractive decoration features a thermometer based on Galileo's (1564-1642) discovery that the density of fluid expands and contracts depending on temperature. The density of the liquid in each sphere varies slightly and as the actual room temperature fluctuates, the glass spheres will rise or fall. The water level in the barometer rises and falls with the changing of the air pressure. Now you can forecast the weather in the most elegant way. Recommended for children ages 10 and up.

I loved this product, it was everything I expected when I ordered it. Since it was a gift, my nephew, who collects these type of thermometers also loved it and did not have one like it! I was so pleased it came in time for Christmas and everything worked out. Thank you! |

I absolutely, positively love this. We have it set up in the living room. It came with great instructions on how to set it up. The kids are having a lot of fun comparing this to the digital weather station we have. I was really excited about it because we have long called Carter our little barometer as the weather change often sets off a shunt headache for him. We are using this to compare the changes with his headaches. Plus, it just looks so cool! |
