How does it work?
Concepts like electrical flow, open and closed circuits, magnetic fields, and strength of magnets come alive while kids construct the necessary tools and instruments on their own. Through letting young scientists engage with electricity, circuits, magnets, and magnetism in a hands-on fashion, the Electricity and Magnet Kit will allow a unique opportunity for children to experience and grasp these concepts at work.
What does it teach?
The Electricity and Magnet Kit features seven different learning "groups" that include magnetic characteristics, direct circuits, magnetic field & electrical field conversion, directional currents, and more. Each learning group includes dedicated experiments and informational demonstrations, over 35 in all!

Electricity and Magnet Kit Review
Carolyn Elkins - February 17, 2011
My son is doing a science fair project. The Magnet kit really came in handy. He has learned a lot about magnets. The whole family sat down and went through the box and did each experiment. Then we started creating our own. My son and husband hooked up the Generator, curve magnets, and wires to a voltage meter to show the judges at the science fair the voltage that can be produced from the small hand generator. Thanks for Everything! My kids love Steve Spangler! Especially my little Science Bug ... Austin! Thanks again! |
