It's a live frog habitat called Planet Frog! Watch as live tadpoles transform into frogs in this realistic pond habitat. These frogs are living in style with a hideaway cave, a rock slide and plenty of place to play hide and seek. The habitat also has a vented, see-through lid for safe and easy viewing. Don't worry about the little frogs escaping... the habitat is break resistant and escape proof (unless one of the frogs is named The Great Houdini Escape Frog). The kit includes a mail-in coupon for live tadpoles to be sent directly to your home. Recommended for children ages 6 and up.
Please note: Your critters will be shipped live, so if the weather is extremely hot or cold, tadpole delivery may be delayed.

The container is super flimsy. I thought it would be hard plastic, but it looks and feels really cheap. Once filledwith water, it cannot be moved. This fact is disappointing because I like to gently move my other critters (ant farm, butterfly habitat) so my kids can get a closer look. Also, I didn't realize I would have to pay $13 extra to receive two tadpoles. Finally, I sent my check in two months ago and have still not received any tadpoles. |

Thank you Steve Spangler for inventing such a nice product. Out of all the products in the 2010 catalog, this product is the best. It was fun wtching the frogs grow. And the habitat is super sturdy. Thanks again for the product! |

This habitat is one of the flimsiest things I've ever seen. The plastic used for Coke bottles is more sturdy than this. If a child accidentally pushed on it, it looks as though it would collapse. Very disappointed. I'm currently trying to return it and get my money back to purchase another one from a different store. It only gets one star because I couldn't give it zero. |
