There are several brands of these "grow windows" out there, and this one is a delight. It was easy to set up, required little space on a window ledge, needed little water, and showed the growth process quickly with our seeds. Students had fun just "growing" the water from the soil tablets, so that was a science experiment in itself! Students get a really good idea of what roots look like, their extension patterns, different types of roots, etc. This was easy to clean when we were done too -- a few taps and everything came out -- and ready to use again. |
