Excellent product and price.
Tom Noonan - March 18, 2011
I ordered the Jumbo Test Tubes to use in building emergency/hobo fishing kits. Excellent size for my purpose, having ample room for hooks, sinkers, bobbers and other supplies. I am very happy with the product and the price. |

Geocaching
Bob Hutchinson - January 25, 2011
I use these as Geocaching containers. I put my logbook inside, hide it, and the cachers find it. It also keeps water out so that the logbook stays nice and dry. |

Great visual attention grabber
Darleen Davies - April 23, 2010
This past week I used both the baby soda bottles and jumbo test tubes to have my students look at why student obesity is becoming an issue in schools. I used drink examples and an activity chart to bring the point home. See an attached picture example. I can send you a copy of the worksheet entitled - Hidden In Plain Sight if you like. Your baby soda bottles hold about 40 grams of sugar so I needed to use the Jumbo tubes for Pepsi, A&W Root Beer and Simply Limeade looking at a 16-20oz serving size. Then looking at what kinds of sugar exist in each from the ingredient list. |

Creative use for test tubes
Sabrina Tennessee - September 15, 2009
I order the Jumbo test tubes to use as snack (goldfish, puffs, cranberries) holders for my two young children. After I put the diapers for two, wipes, bottles, change of clothes and everything else in the diaper bag the space is very limited so I thought a snack container that was long and skinny like the test tubes would save more space than the to bowls I was currently using. It works great. My only word of advice is don't put them in the dishwasher. Wash by hand. My test tubes actually shrank to almost 1/2 the size. But Steve Spangler Science stood behind their product and sent me new ones...... it doesn't say they are dishwasher safe, I was just hopeful. |
