Usually ships out the next day.

Squeeze a long stream of Worm Goo into the Activator Solution and you'll get Instant Worms! You won't believe your eyes as the honey-like "Worm Goo" changes into a rubbery solid the second the two solutions mix. This unique polymer formulation (no Borax or PVA used here) is safe to touch and weave between your fingers. The "hands-on science" factor is great for younger students while the strong content makes the activity perfect for upper-level students and teachers. If you love the classic "slime" activity, Insta-Worms™ is guaranteed to knock your socks off! This classroom version of our classic kit gives you everything you need to make a classroom full of slimy, multi-colored worms for 24 lucky students working in groups! Recommended for children ages 6 and up.

You get enough materials to make about 98 meters (320 ft) of Worms!

What's included?

  • Two  one-liter bottles of Worm Goo
  • 60 grams of Worm Activator powder
  • Coloring solution
  • 8 Worm Goo squirt bottles
  • 4 oz of Pearl Swirl Concentrate
  • 24 Zipper-lock bags
  • Food Coloring
  • Activity guide

What does it teach?

Explore the science of building polymers by cross-linking long chains of molecules. The process of making Instant Worms is faster and easier than the classic Slime recipe and it happens the very second the two liquids mix. Truly amazing!

I teach science in the homeschool community and the Insta-worms are always a big hit! I use them to talk about molecules, chemical reactions, polymers... and the kids absolutely love them! Year after year! Thanks for producing products that excite kids (and parents) about science!

Messy, great fun.

I bought this classroom kit and the instant snow kit for my son's 7th birthday party. I made all kind of colors of worms and surprisingly, the girls loved them just as much as the boys if not more. The girls took a whole rainbow of colored worms home from the party. One of the parents was so impressed he asked where I bought the kits from. I was more than happy to say 'Steve Spangler Science!'

Got this for a "First Day of School" science experiment. I admit I was a little worried about doing this the first day, but it was great! The students were so enthusiastic and did such a great job working together. They were thrilled that they could take their worms home with them and eager to try out some extra experiments at home with them. I heard that they went home very excited about science this year. I will DEFINITELY start the year off next year with this again!!

We have a MAD SCIENCE DAY each year at our center and this is a keeper since the first year! The children enjoy making their own worms! This hands on activity is a great classroom lesson!

The children ask each year, "Are we going to make worms again?" The last time we did it, we added food coloring! the children got to pick the color they wanted to make their worm!
