A little disappointed

We found these extremely hard to blow up with the enclosed straws. This may have been easier with a pump. However, about half of the balloons popped before we even got them blown up. The end blew off on most of the ones that popped. Some had holes in them before we even attempted to blow air into them. On the flip side, the ones that did work were a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed watching and listening to them!

I found these balloons to be poor quality and much flimsier than the ones I purchased at another online store. Will not buy again.

Joyce,
We are extremely sorry to hear about your disappointment in the Rocket Balloons Refill Kit.  A customer service representative will be in touch with you to try and work something out.

What can you say about noisy balloons that shoot up 50 feet besides awesome! My son plays with these all the time. Was a great Christmas hit and gets everyone outside to see the balloons go off! A few do pop, but hey, that's just part of the fun. They don't last forever, but you get your bang for the buck for sure. We'll be buying more

Great Purchase!!!

I am sorry to say we were very disappointed with this product. About 2 years ago I ordered the Ballons with refills and we LOVED them. I teach science enrichment to 100 5-6 year olds each week. Recently I ordered refills and an extra pump. While the pump works well the balloons are awful. Some had holes before I even could inflate them, some popped with just a little air and some did not make a noise when released. The squeal the original balloons made was the best part for the children; I am sorry the quality has declined.

I bought the big pack after reading the two reviews thinking I would take these balloons to Kenya to use with some school children there. When my 14 year old grandson and I tried a couple today, we were greatly disappointed by their performance. The two we tried barely made it off the ground and the noise they made was nothing special either. I wish I could send the rest back for a refund.

Carolyn, Thanks for your review. A member of our customer service team will be contacting you to discuss the problem you experienced. Sounds like you have a bad batch of balloons, and we'd be happy to replace them or give you a full refund. In the future if you ever have any issues please call us immediately and we'll be happy to help. -- Steve Spangler Science Web Team

I didn't expect these to be this cool. I filled them up and passed them out to all the adults at VBS and had them let them go during the opening and WOW, it was like the 4th of July. The kids were so excited. There were a few balloons that either had a leak or blew up when I was pumping them up, so calculate that in when ordering so you have enough. Great product.

The Rocket Balloon with Pump is a fun toy, once the rocket balloon is filled up with air you can let it go and watch it whistle and whip through the air. You can use it just about any where but I recommend that you use it outside and watch where the balloon takes off to.
