How does it work?

The two brightly-colored wands contain strong ceramic magnets that can be used to pick up paper clips, small metal objects or iron filings. The colorful plastic disks are called Magnetic Counting Chips and have thin metal bands around their edges that attract magnets. Those weird marbles hanging out together in your kit look like regular marbles but they're also magnets!
