This 16-inch plastic tube comes with all the colorful materials you need to make a magical rainbow wand. The primary colors in the tube continue to mix and create secondary colors for several months. It's a science experiment that never ends! Each tube comes with enough non-toxic materials to make the Rainbow Wand three times. Recommended for children ages 6 and up.

I was amazed at how many crystals this package made! My class made a small and a large rainbow wand. I only mixed up part of the crystals, and have plenty to do this demonstration for the next couple of semesters! The students were fascinated with the crystals, which sparked their interest in polymers.

while best to make a full day in advance, it was a huge hit at my 7 year old's bday party. after the party my son continued to sit and touch, touch touch while creating stories in his head. he just loved it!!!

My daughter and I enjoyed the demonstration. As a 5th grade student, she is interested in doing a Science Fair experiment using the polymer crystals.
