Everyone knows that water can't flow uphill. Not so fast... when this goo is poured back and forth between two beakers, Gravi-Goo mysteriously siphons from the higher held beaker to the lower one. Maybe water can flow uphill. You have to play with the stuff to believe it. Recommended for children ages 10 and up.
- 150 gram jar of Gravi-Goo
- Blue measuring scoop
What Does It Teach?
Gravi-Goo is a great introduction to molecular weights and structures. Children will marvel at this fascinating goo and learn a lesson about polymers at the same time! Watch out though, even adults have been known to become addicted to the uphill flow of Gravi-Goo!
- Slimy stuff!!! Review by Ellen
I have this in a closed container on my desk and I take it out and pour it back and forth when someone comes in my room. Before long the boring discussion is forgotten and I'm explaining it. Inevitably, they take some with them and "science bug" is spread! (Posted on 5/31/13)
- Love this goo! Review by Kim Walker
We had a "Super Science After Hours" event at the Louisiana Children's Discovery Center and this goo was a huge hit! It works great. Definitely follow the recommendation of letting it sit, though, very important step :) (Posted on 5/31/13)
- How to Make a Slip'n'Slide Super Slippery Review by Holly F.
We sprinkled just a pinch of Gravi-Goo powder onto the Slip 'n Slide and within a minute, the kids were flying across the plastic. Just don't use too much. A pinch is all you need!!! (Posted on 5/31/13)
