Willow Creek Egg Drop Contest

A group of highly motivated 5th graders joins Steve Spangler.

A group of highly motivated, bright-eyed, never-fearing 5th graders from Willow Creek Elementary joined Steve Spangler this week for a special “Egg Drop Contest” in the 9NEWS backyard. The clever designs ranged from boxes filled with styrofoam peanuts to jars of peanut butter and parachutes to help cushion the fall. With eggs loaded and Steve perched high above the ground on a 14-foot ladder, the eggs suffered a brutal fall. Be sure to take a look at the video clip to see the winning designs for yourself.
