Sometimes two people just have a certain "chemistry" in their relationship... what better time to explore the chemistry behind love than for Valentine's Day? Okay, so Steve Spangler doesn't really have a special formula for the science of relationships, but he does have some fun experiments to help celebrate the holiday and even a little love potion!
Materials
- Hand Boiler
- Energy Ball
- Goldenrod paper
- Ammonia (can be found in cleaning products such as glass cleaner or washing soda)
Want your own love meter to see if you are "hot" this Valentine's Day? Our Hand Boilers are a great way to demonstrate the relationship between temperature and pressure, and a fun activity for the holiday.
The Energy Ball helps children visualize circuits... but for Valentine's Day, use the Energy Ball to show the "electricity" of love!
