Houston, we have lift-off! Summer camp isn't just for kids anymore. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Hunstville, Alabama offers a unique weekend camp experience for children and their parents. Steve Spangler attended the camp over the weekend with his son Jack and they're here to share a few science surprises.
There are a number of very cool camps offered through Space Camp. The Parent & Child program took place over the weekend and was filled with nonstop activities. Together, we explored the history-present and future- of space flight and experienced the sensations of real Shuttle launches from giant-screen IMAX movies showing Shuttle astronauts performing missions in space.
