Steve Spangler Science offers ground shipping, three-day, two-day and overnight express services through Fedex. Most orders are shipped within two business days from the time your order is placed. Fedex delivers Monday through Friday. Contact us if you have any special shipping needs. Here are some other important things to note about Steve Spangler Science shipping.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
The total time for your order to arrive is a combination of the ORDER LEAD TIME and SHIPPING TIME. Order lead time is the length of time it will take us to validate your credit card, round up your products and package your order. Shipping time is the length of time it will take for the package to travel from our warehouse to your shipping address.
Please note: FedEx does not deliver on national U.S. holidays or does it count that as a business day.

Shipping Options
You will be able to select from a variety of shipping options during the check out process depending on your specific needs. Steve Spangler Science offers standard ground shipping, 3 day air, 2 day air and next day air through Fedex. Remember to add in the order lead time (the time it will take to validate your credit card, gather your products and package your order) to the shipping time to determine when your order will arrive. Express orders ship on the same business day if order is received by 12:00 PM MST. If your order was placed on a weekend or holiday it will ship on the next business day. FedEx delivers 5 days a week, Monday through Friday.
Shipping costs
Your shipping costs will be calculated and displayed before you complete your order. Your shipping costs can also be found on your order status page and in your order confirmation email.
Picking up a package
Once the carrier has attempted delivery at the shipping address, you will have the option to pick up the package at your carrier's local office. The package will only be released to the person whose name is on the shipping label. That person should take one form of ID, a government issued photo ID (drivers license, passport, residency card.)
Call to reschedule delivery
The notice from your carrier should have a phone number on it that you can call to reschedule delivery. If you choose this option, make sure that you're around when your package arrives again.
Military Address
For orders going to APO / FPO addresses, we can only ship using USPS Priority Mail. Please note that the "Track Your Order" capability is not available for items sent to APO / FPO addresses. Steve Spangler Science is responsible only for the delivery of your items from our distribution center to the U.S. military post offices. Once the items have been delivered to the U.S. military post offices, we do not have control over the shipment or delivery time to the final APO / FPO destination.
Shipping refunds
If you paid for expedited delivery and did not receive your package on time, you may be eligible for a shipping refund. Please Contact us for more information.
Damage during shipping
Contact us immediately if your package was damaged during shipping. Please keep all of the packaging materials.
