Here's the video that aired in September 2005 where Steve's co-anchor gets soaked while performing the experiment on live television. The blog entry posted later that day read... "News Anchor Gets Soaked - Mentos Experiment Sets New Record" and visitors repeatedly crashed the server. The video was featured on VH1 and linked to over 2,600 blogs. It's amazing how a blog, a mint and bottle of soda set off a eruption of viral videos.
