Jack's Growing Bacteria Project

Jack sets out to find and grow bacteria for his science project


This activity will prove that Mom was right, "Wash your hands with soap and warm water!" A Petri dish prepared with agar (a seaweed derivative) is an ideal food source for the bacteria you'll be growing. In this experiment, Jack collected samples from items around the home - you will not believe what he found.
