Houston, we have lift-off! Summer camp isn't just for kids anymore. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Hunstville, Alabama offers a unique weekend camp experience for children and their parents. Steve Spangler attended the camp over the weekend with his son Jack and they're here to share a few science surprises.

There are a number of very cool camps offered through Space Camp. The Parent & Child program took place over the weekend and was filled with nonstop activities. Together, we explored the history (present and future) of space flight and experienced the sensations of real Shuttle launches from giant-screen IMAX movies showing Shuttle astronauts performing missions in space.
